The Venture in Faith Prayer Vigil is an opportunity for the body of Christ at Redeemer to jointly recognize our eternal Father as our Leader and our Source, and in Christ to seek in earnest, intentional prayer His blessing and His will for this capital stewardship campaign.
How the Prayer Vigil works:
it will be a 24-hour period from 7 pm Friday, 5/16/08 until 7 pm Saturday, 5/17/08
up to three people may sign up per 30-minute slot
folks may use the sign-up sheet on the information table on the Sundays leading up to May 16 or may sign up online by clicking here: Sign Up On-Line this will take you to a page off of this site. You will see a chart with three buttons beside each date/time. Click on the button and you will sign-up to pray during that time slot.
When you sign-up you are pledging to pray for Venture in Faith for the 30 minutes you chose.
Here are some specifics to pray for during the vigil:
availability of property at the Lord's price
availability of a loan at the Lord's price/rate
that Satan would be completely bound from this entire process
that as a body we grow in depth, in grace, in devotion to our Lord
that the church God uses us to build have a missional purpose
